Socks fever
I couldn't resist, before even finishing my first sock, I've started another project. I found the Knee Striped Socks by Diana so adorable, that I started to make a pair for my sister.
After practicing the 4 needles knitting, for the first pattern, I'm now approaching two new techniques. Which is cool cos' I'm learning so many new things!!
For now I've learn the Turkish Cast On (thanks to the fantastic tutorial by Deby) and the Magic Loop Knitting thanks to Knitting Help.com! And I have successfully combined the two techniques, look at this seamless toe, isn't it nice? I'm proud ;-)
At the beginning everything looks extremely difficult, but after a while it gets easy and very fast!
It's a socks fever!!!!

Hi Justine! Can you believe it, I´m learning the same as you! To knit socks on two circular needles!!! Like you, I´ve followed the Knitting Help tutorial! Hey, so many coincidences! ;)
Really Vik? How fun1 Isn't it challenging and amazing at the same time? I love it! I'll check your blog to see how it goes. For now I've realized that my sock is a bit big, I'll start a new one...
Justine I´m laughing! I also had to frog mine! I thought the woman´s medium would be too big for me, and then I followed the children´s large instruction... I´ve realized it was too small, I´ll start a new one too! ;)
Thanks for the pictures! I see... you´re doing a "toe up sock". I´ve seen that patterns too. But I chose the other ones, I started with the leg, and I´m approaching to the heel... Your toe looks perfect, can´t believe this is the first one you knit Justine, you´re a genius! ;)
Vik you are too nice! I just followed the instructions, and believe me it's easy! I'm doing also a leg-to-toe sock, just to compare the techniques... for now I'm progressing faster with the toe up, but the race is still on! ;-)
Hi Justine!
I´ve finished my first sock yesterday!!! Now I´m getting nervous cause the second one must look exactly the same... wish me luck!
