Hermes Knitted Hat

While working as hell I noticed this absolutely adorable knitted hat from Hermès Fall/Winter 2008-2009 catwalks. Looks easy to do and at the same time interesting and original. What you think? I will definitely try to make it. Any suggestions on the increase pattern to use as a base for the crown?

Thanks to Anneli we now have the pattern!!

  1. Is it definitely increased, or could it just be a switch to bigger needles? The shape of it is a lot like a cabled hat I made this year (for Hat Attack) which just went up two needle sizes after the bottom rib...

  2. Thanks Paige! Dont' you have a link to your hat attack pattern?

I think I'll try with a basic beanie pattern for increases and decreases

I can't seem to get from Italian to English. Do the directions exist in English?

  11. Love those hats. It's like a knitting quilt but still looks simplified enough.
An english pattern would be great!!! Or maybe just doing it as a chart with a brief description in english to make sure we get it.
